Each of you is required to do one 5-minute presentation this semester. For your presentation, you must do outside research on some topic related to that day's reading. The sign-up sheet, which is below, includes some suggested topics that might be appropriate for a presentation on the day you signed up for. These are only suggestions. You are free to do your presentation on any topic that interests you, as long as it's relevant to the reading.
I must approve your topic at least a week in advance, so please plan ahead.
You will be excused from the homework assignment due on the day of your presentation. However, in lieu of your homework, you will be required to hand in the notes and sources you used to give your presentation. You must use at least 2 outside sources. Wikipedia does not count as a source.
